Stressless®, a leading manufacturer of premium furniture in the Nordics, is highly regarded in large markets worldwide. Reactor has done an extensive revitalization of their studio and communication concept.
An extensive insight project led us to a design direction that is brighter, younger, and faithful to the Nordic style. Our idea was to stage the furniture as heroes, with models that uncomplicatedly explain the furniture's ingenious functions. The Stressless® Rooms styling program creates aesthetic context and inspiration, and the visual communication has been fully redone in a simple and sophisticated way.
The idea for the stepped blue/greys in the design is inspired by blåner (meaning color fade-out in the horizon) – the blue hills in the endless mountains, creating associations to Norway in a subtle way.
